The Tutor Skills Tests provides our program with a national, impartial benchmark of our tutors knowledge, skills and overall practice. They are aligned with the Tutoring Foundations on-line training program, which itself is in articulation with the academic requirements for tutor certification by the National Tutoring Association. Available only in sequence (Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced) .
"Tutoring Foundations" is the only online training curriculum that assigns an advanced certified tutor/instructor to each participant for interactive feedback and professional development. This three module pass/fail curriculum is expected to require 15 -17 hours of learner participation per module which is normally completed over a one month period. Available only in sequence (Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced).
